The Mavic 3 Multispectral (Mavic 3M, Universal Edition) is DJI’s flagship drone for precision agriculture, environmental mapping, and resource assessment. Designed for professionals demanding high-resolution multispectral data paired with accurate RGB imagery — all backed by RTK-level positioning and efficient long-range telemetry.

Core Imaging System

• RGB Camera: 4/3″ CMOS, 20 MP, mechanical shutter (up to 1/2000 s) for crisp, distortion-free visuals. Supports burst at 0.7 s intervals.

• Multispectral Sensor: Four 5 MP bands — Green (560 ± 16 nm), Red (650 ± 16 nm), Red Edge (730 ± 16 nm), NIR (860 ± 26 nm) — ideal for NDVI and crop health analysis.

Flight & Positioning

• Up to 43 minutes of flight time per battery, enabling coverage of up to 200 hectares per flight in optimal conditions. 

• Centimeter‑level RTK positioning, with microsecond synchronization between RTK, flight control, and imaging modules—eliminating the need for ground control points. 

 Operational Features

• Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance & APAS, offering full sphere safety during missions. 15 km O3 Enterprise transmission range keeps ground teams reliably linked. 

• Built-in sunlight sensor automatically captures irradiance data for NDVI calibration, boosting reconstruction accuracy and temporal consistency. 

• Compact and foldable: Weighs ~950–1050 g (including RTK), and folds neatly for transport. Fly from –10 °C to 40 °C.
